Open House 2009

The 31th annual J&P Cycles Open House begins June 26. Join the AIRHAWK team members for some fun, sun, motorcycles and more. The Open House events inlcude a motorcycle rodeo, the Teresi Dyno Drag Semi, the Daytona Harley-Davidson Drill Team, a silent auction benefiting the National Motorcycle Museum and more. Join more than 65 motorcycle manufacturers on hand with their products. More than 22,000 people attended the event last year.

Stars of FX’s ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Charlie Hunnam (Jax), Kim Coates (Tig), Theo Rossi (Juice), Tommy Flanagan (Chibs), Dayton Callie (Unser) and William Lucking (Piney) have all confirmed that they will be at the Big Bear Choppers‘ 8th Annual Ride the Mountain Bike Show and Poker Run.

This year’s Americade Motorcycle Rally events include: themed boat cruises, hot air balloon rides, charity poker run, comedy night, bowling thunder and the fuel economy run. It will also fashion shows, bike judging, scavenger hunt, fireworks show, rodeo, live music and dancing.

Americade is the world’s largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally with more than 50,000 riders and passengers annually. It began in 1983 when Bill Dutcher and a small staff hosted the “Aspencade East” at Lake George, NY. Lake George is the gateway to The Adirondack Park, the largest park in the continental US with approximately six million acres.

In 1986 the event was changed from Aspencade East to Americade to fit the multi-brand and national feel of the event.
